Hello skyband!
Its been a long and tiring preparation for SYF. But we're now close to the finishing line! All we have to do is just push ourselves and sprint a little faster!!
Let's all work HARDER, and BETTER! (:

Okay, anyway we only have exactly a week left before the performance.
Nono! We only have 6 more days. 2 more practices.
So really do practice hard and give your full attention to Mr Lun as well as the two pieces.
Inculcate this undivided attention into even the simplest things, such as warm ups and tunings.
6 more days left people! Let's give it our all for this last last lap of the race shall we? Jiayou people! =D Work hard!
Oh yeah, please really do do take care of yourself.
Sleep early, drink more water, and the usual stuff that your mum used to nag to you.
Now, the last thing we want now is for you to fall sick right?

Dalston here!!
It's Sunday 22nd March today.
We have only 10days left till syf.
10days, 4 official practices left till syf. Now that's not a lot of time left isn't it?
Mr Lun did the sums and currently we only have 4 practice x 3 hours = 12 hours left.
That's exactly half a day left. Woah half a day, it's all there is.
Seriously, it's either we make it or break it.
But... I strongly believe that SkyBand can make it! =D
"Band Number 56, Seng Kang Secondary Symphonic Band, GOLD!"
so cool right! haha.
Anyway anyway, back to the serious topic!
We have only 10 days left till syf.
If we want a GOLD, it ain't gonna drop from the sky.
We have to work hard for it.
If you guys feel like giving up right now, please please pleaseeee don't.
You might feel that Band is taking up a lot of your time.
But Band, it's really the last lap of the race.
We really have to buck up and 'chiong' the last lap.
10 days, 4 practices, 12 hours.
It's all Mr Lun and all our teachers ask of you.
12 hours of solid concrete undivided attention in band.
SkyBand has already taken up so much of your time for past 1 year.
so much sacrifice,
so much commitment,
so much laughter,
so much joy
so much fun,
so much tears,
so much time,
and so so so much scolding from your Section Leaders and Mr Lun.
Is it worth to throw all that down the drain just because you lose motivation now?
I'm sure the answer is pretty obvious right? Obviously NO! =D haha.
SkyBand! Give it your all for the last lap of the race.

Make sure we have 150% so we can still give it 100% if we panic.
Jiayou SkyBand! Practice hard.
Remember to take good care of yourselves too. =D
Drink more water, get ample rest and do not skip meals.

We have been ballot and been chosen to be on 1 APRIL 09 (WEDNESDAY) !
4.15 pm
It will be the 3rd day of SYF central judging.
Our school will be behind Nan Chiau High School.
And aft us, there will be 2 more schools before our results will be out.
We have been left 29 more days before our SYF !
Please work harder. Thank you.
